Monterey Bay Aquarium
Grandma and Grandpa took us on an hour and a half drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Last time I went there was before I moved to Holland so I would've been 4 or under. We stopped by an English Pub along the way, I had a chicken burger with avocados. It was very yummy but I couldn't stop thinking that they would never serve that in England.
The aquarium was very pretty and had a range of different sections, such as: deep sea, tropical reefs, shore life and lots more. There was also a jellyfish experience which was amazing because it really felt like I was in the ocean swimming with them.

Safari Part 2
The safari consist of a 3 hour jeep ride around the reserve. Once our car ride was over, we had a walk around the aviary where we had a chance to look at some exotic birds. We also saw tortoises, cheetahs and monkeys.
The one thing I really enjoyed hearing about the park was that all the animals could escape if they wanted, but they choose not to! They have everything they need: food, water, friends and space to run. The rhinos were behind a little fence made of blackberry bushes that they could easily smash through. Also, its a non-profit park so all the money we pay to go on the safari goes to care for the animals or for scientific research.

Fun days with Auntie Eden
One day we went to a Japanese curry restaurant. I ended up eating chicken teriyaki and rice, it was very yummy! On Tuesday, Auntie Eden came for a sleepover, which was really fun. On Wednesday, we ate lunch with Auntie Eden and Uncle Alex at a Chinese restaurant.

Welcome to My Blog
I've started this blog so I can share my photos of my travels to my friends and family.
The first trip I'm going to write about is California. On the 14th of August me and my sister, Veronica, flew over to San Francisco, alone. After a 3-hour delay and then a 9-hour plane ride we arrived safely. Grandma and Grandpa picked us up at the airport and we drove to their lovely house. We had a yummy dinner of Chinese food, then at 8 o'clock me and Veronica fell asleep.
The first few days we relaxed at the house, swam and read.

My goal was to swim 1,001 laps, I managed to complete my goal on the last day of our trip!
One day we went to Santana Row and ate at a nice Italian place. Afterwards we went to the Tesla (an electric car) shop (yes, a store at the mall) and I got to sit in the front!
